Cory Ferrell
Cory Ferrell, Head Golf Professional at Sugar Creek Golf Course, has been a class “A” PGA member since 2002, with over twenty years of background and experience in the golf business. Cory has grown up in the golf business and has followed in the footsteps of his father who is a life-long PGA Golf Professional. Cory’s background includes positions as head professional at Maple Meadows in Wood Dale, Seven Bridges in Woodridge, and most recently as the Teaching Professional at Old Oak Country Club in Homer Glen since 2010.
Cory is also the Teaching Professional for Revelation Golf – a non-profit organization that uses the game of golf to enhance the quality of life for cancer survivors, individuals with physical disabilities, and at risk youth. He has also been the volunteer coach for the boy’s golf team at Marist High School for the past two seasons.
Cory's experience with golf operations includes staff management, coordinating golf outings and leagues, merchandising and inventory control, budgeting and financial management and development and marketing programs. Cory’s wife Jen is also a PGA and LPGA member who is currently the Head Golf Professional at Glendale Lakes Golf Club in Glendale Heights.
